With a student population that has grown to more than 33,000 students and is expected to increase, UC San Diego must continually strive to meet the housing needs of our students. Development of the North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood presents an opportunity to help meet our on-campus housing goals while also providing much-needed academic and administrative space that better connects departments and programs.

Envisioned to be a vibrant and active hub, the neighborhood will also be a welcoming and comfortable place that promotes community. Elements include:

Project details for the Living Learning Neighborhood are being developed by UC San Diego Facilities Design and Construction in collaboration with Physical and Community Planning. Oversight is provided by the Building Advisory Committee.
